I'm very thankful for 2010!
I'm thankful for learning a lot with my conquests and frustrations. =)
For 2011, I want to be wiser to accept my faults and victories. I hope, in this year, I can finally have my real vacation with my dreaming trip, and I hope I can save enough money to get married!

Hi dear all!

This is Rafa trying to find words to summarize the crazy-good-busy year he had.

I'll begin saying that I kinda fulfilled my last year promise of having more leisurely time. Ok, I didn't apply to a body gym not even started playing sports as I'd planned, but I had some more spare time to study, watch films and TV Series, read books and browse the net with no specific purposes. I needed that!

You might be asking yourselves: But where is the crazy-busy part? In order to graduate by 2011, I had to take 7 courses! Picture this! Lots of books, plays, texts and tests to sit! That was definetely the hardest semester ever! I will not say I passed with flying colours, but I had at least very good grades! I just want to be on vacation right now!

My resolutions for the next year? Well, I intend to take my driving license, start a new specialization course, make some exams, enter a body gym and plan my second trip to Europe (now Paris, Greece and Turkey!) uhu! And I've just asked for my Christmas gitf and Sant Claus promised he'd surely bring it to me: more dedicated and cooperative students, who come to all Uptime events and and don't skip too many classes! =)

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hey guys, this is Rodrigo writing.

The holidays are here and we are going to have a short break but we will return on January 3rd. (By the way, you can schedule your classes for next year!)

We are heading to a new year and this is always a moment which we stop to think about the things we accomplished during the year and about our resolutions for the next year.

Bearing this in mind, we decided to post the teacher's resolutions and we also invite you all to share your resolutions with us!

I am going to begin with my 2011 resolutions:

RODRIGO ACCIOLY


This was a great year for me: I started a new graduation course, I traveled abroad, made some good friends, I managed to get my USA visa so I can visit my sister who lives in Atlanta, but, as usual, I didn't do what I pledged to 2010.


So, I started my 2011 wishes by asking Santa Clause to bring me some nice presents.
Since I was such a nice boy during the year, I think he will please me and bring me everything I asked for (basically an ipad and TV series boxes.)


Now, regarding my resolutions, what I want for 2011 is, actually,  to be able to do everything that I promised myself!
I want to finally get my driver's license, I want to start eating helthier, and, of course, I want something that doesn't depend on me: I want the Uptime students to come every week and to attend to ALL our events! lol


Well, I believe I didn't ask for impossible things.
Thanks everybody who helped me throughout the year and all the students who showed up and contributed to the success of our events.

WHAT A WONDERFUL PARTY WE HAD TODAY!

On behalf of all instructors, I'd like to thank you guys for coming today and making it such good fun. Our Christmas party couldn't have been better! I think nobody will forget the great time we spent together (specially during the mime game).

Our Auction is Coming!

The most expected Uptime's event of the year has arrived: the X-mas /Auction party!

I don't know if you guys had the chance to attend one of our parties, but I can say most certainly that it's all about fun! So, why don't you join us? The party is going to be held on December 10th, from 5pm to 9pm, at our school! There is a ticket for refreshments, that I highly recommed you buying in advance 'cause it only costs R$15 (if you pay on the party day, it costs R$20). Tag along!
